About the Learning Farm
The Learning Farm was born of a dream to provide a safe, whole learning environment for children to learn self-sufficiency and sustainable living practices. We aim to give our young people the tools and knowledge to provide for themselves throughout their lives, from soil to table and beyond.
Mission
Our mission is to equip our youngest members of society with the knowledge and confidence to live in harmony with the earth and their community through sustainable living practices.
Vision
We offer a comprehensive, age appropriate understanding of soil health, the beauty of worms, raising and harvesting a garden, the full life cycle of animals, and traditional crafts that further the goals of sustainability and self-sufficiency.
